bitcoin:native - no chart but my read is that as we close August we will get some market jitters in September. This down move could likely be a good entry. We all know Bessent's pain point now from 2 weeks ago and where the "Bessent put" is (although its not really about equities or really crypto for that matter lol). That being said however... the Warsh speech at Jackson Hole could be read as hawkish (I guess...). Kind of strange to me. I don't know if I buy it 100% but the market seems to think the chance of a hike in September is more likely than not. I think its fair game for Bitcoin to do a check back down to 75k-72k. This would be a good "retest" for bulls to hold for another leg higher to 85k-90k. I wouldn't love to see below 72k for bulls. It is possible to go lower than 72k (anything is possible) but structure wise bulls shouldn't give too much back from whatever de-risking the market does into the upcoming FOMC which is when Warsh could potentially hike. It's probably his last chance to hike given how close we are to midterms. Something something a strong break out doesn't let people in something something... Anyways - could express this via put spreads or outright short with a stop at around 81. The PnL curve post @fuegonft mint is looking lovely. Who's ready for some trading competitions on Fuego? gFuego 🕯️
