My Bitcoin buying switched itself off last Saturday. The CSH Score, our measure of where Bitcoin sits in its long-term cycle, crossed 30 on August 22 after 79 straight days below it. My plan only buys on a schedule while the score is 30 or under. So it stopped. No meeting with myself, no staring at the chart, no gut call. Seven months of buying between 20 and 30, done. If the market rolls over and the score drops back under 30, the buying starts again. If it never does, I spent the whole window accumulating while it was cheap. Most people's strategy has an entry rule. Almost nobody's has an exit rule for the buying itself. That's the part that saved me from myself this cycle.
