#BTC Today, Bitcoin's active wallet addresses increased from about 645,000 to nearly 1 million after a hack that stole around $88 million worth of Bitcoin from affected wallets. What it means: Many more Bitcoin wallets became active than usual. This happened after a major hack, as users and hackers moved Bitcoin between wallets. Some people transferred their funds to safer wallets, while the stolen Bitcoin was also being moved. Because of the increased activity, some traders believe Bitcoin could see a bullish (upward) price move, but higher network activity alone does not guarantee that the price will rise.
