Bitcoin security isn't a binary choice between "secure" and "insecure." It's the continual balancing of different risks across people, technology and time. Every solution optimises for something. Single signature wallets reduce complexity but increase the consequences of one mistake. Threshold signatures reduce single key compromise risk but can concentrate implementation, vendor, supply chain and recovery risk. Multisig removes certain single points of failure but adds operational complexity. Multi-institutional custody distributes trust across multiple organisations but introduces institutional dependency and governance trade offs. Collaborative security combines technology with independent governance, while requiring trust in clearly defined roles. There is no perfect solution. There are only trade offs. Ask yourself this: "Which model gives me, and the people I love, the highest probability of still having access to our Bitcoin decades from now?" That's the problem we've spent the last decade trying to solve. https://t.co/Qcmk7Ufo5s
