The recent @COLDCARDwallet hack is one of the most disturbing ever, because people who did everything right still lost it all I'm not here to comment on that, but rather offer advice to those who feel they need to make changes in wake of this The Laffer Curve states that there is a theoretical "optimal" tax rate, where you get the most revenue. if you set taxes at 0 or 100, you'd get $0, because at 100% tax no one is incentivized to work You can think of crypto OpSec as a Laffer Curve between being Your Funds Are Insecure and setting yourself as a High-Probability Single Point of Failure You might look at the hack and think "I need to add a BIP-39 password". This is all well and good, but what if you're someone liable to forget the password? You've now created an attack vector on yourself, FROM yourself I recommend that you find the setup that gets you secure (hardware wallets that are offline and contain a seed generated by you and shard with no one), and then add on to the level that you can without making it likely that you'll someday make your own funds inaccessible
