I’m sorry, but you have no right to complain about reality just because it isn’t as easy as you’d like it to be. The only real solution is to use real entropy for your keys. Literally. Period. There’s no way around it. Reality gives you very few practical options to implement this solution: 1) You personally audit the software/firmware (and mostly pray for the hardware), 2) You minimize risk by combining different software/hardware/external sources (default multisig like BitKey or Jade, rolling dice, etc.), 3) You use social and market heuristics to decide whom to trust, hoping they have their act together. The people who chose option 3 with Coldcard were just unlucky this time. You don’t deserve better treatment, and screaming louder or “threatening Bitcoin” to return to fiat if it doesn’t become easy enough for you won’t force reality to bend to your tantrum and hand you some magical shortcut. 👇🏽
