This is why I encourage everyone to learn how the monetary system actually works. You don't have to agree with every policy decision, but you do need to understand how money is created, where it flows first, and why asset ownership has become one of the biggest drivers of wealth over the past two decades. When you create trillions of dollars to support financial markets, the first assets to rise are stocks, property and other investments. Those who already own assets become wealthier, while those relying on wages often fall further behind. Understanding how monetary policy affects wealth distribution is one of the most important financial lessons people can learn. Financial education isn't optional anymore.
