New waves of hacking are targeting the heart of Bitcoin → Theft of seed phrases generated by the Hard Wallet COLDCARD WALLET. Bitcoin is falling due to fear over what is happening. If these attacks grow large enough, we must prepare for a major black swan event. Black swans arrive from the last place we expect—and an attack on the algorithm that generates seed keys (for example, in a wallet) is an unthinkable strike that hits at the very core of Bitcoin. Each attack leaves a lesson, and today we are paying dearly for one of the most important lessons the ecosystem has taught us: “You must generate your own keys, not rely on an algorithm.”
