limit orders just went live on @domaprotocol, and the feature itself is the boring part. what it changes about how you buy domains is the real story. every trade used to be a market order. you saw a price, you took it. fine when you liked the price. useless when you liked the name and not the number. most watchlists are just a list of domains you'd buy at the right price and never actually do. now you leave a bid and close the tab. if it corrects, you own it at your number. if it never corrects, you never bought it at a price you'd regret. that's the whole game for domainers. buy well, wait, sell to the right buyer. slow work that never rewarded sitting on a chart all day. resting bids turn a watchlist into money with intent behind it. the chart was always the new part of domaining. this is what makes it usable.
