I’ve been following the market since 2017, so next year will mark exactly 10 years—there’s never been a year quite like the last. - By 2018, everyone was calling Bitcoin ($BTC) a scam. - By 2022, people still claimed Bitcoin had no value. - Now in 2026, Bitcoin’s value is widely recognized; no one questions it anymore. But for altcoins, very few still believe they can recover. This moment has seen brutal consolidation among altcoins—almost none of the projects once considered trustworthy in the prior cycle hold up today. Beyond trading and RWA, there’s little left to inspire confidence for the next cycle. Regardless, the market still exists and is now acknowledged—that’s what’s been achieved. But will it grow again? If so, it certainly won’t be right now...
