Lately it feels like genuinely new content is becoming harder to find. Not because people suddenly ran out of ideas, but because the companies with enough money to turn those ideas into something big seem increasingly afraid to take the risk. It is safer to remake an old game, bring back a finished movie franchise or release another sequel than to spend years and hundreds of millions building something people have never seen before. And honestly, I understand why they do it. A familiar name already has an audience, nostalgia does half the marketing, and investors can at least estimate how much money it might make. A completely new project can fail even if it is good. But the result is that we keep getting the same stories in slightly different packaging. There is more content than ever, yet somehow less of it feels new. But I don’t think creativity disappeared. I think the people controlling the biggest budgets became too afraid to bet on it. Do you also feel like companies would rather remake something that already worked than take a real chance on a new idea?
