$BTC OrderFlow 📊 We’re seeing a sharp increase in Open Interest at the current low, telling us that new contracts are being opened. At the same time, positive Delta and rising CVD show aggressive market buying dominating aggressive market selling. Combine the two, and the picture becomes clear: a large number of aggressive new longs are entering without meaningful passive bid support underneath them. At a strong low, we want to see the opposite sequence first: negative Delta alongside rising Open Interest, but no downside follow-through. That would suggest new shorts are entering while passive buyers absorb the selling and establish a strong floor. Only after that absorption has taken place and we can actually see a strong floor below, do we want to see aggressive buyers step in and take control. When a strong sell-off stops not because sellers are exhausted or being absorbed, but because buyers are throwing themselves in front of the moving train and trying to force the auction to stop, it is usually not a confirmed bottom. It is more likely a catch-the-knife situation - they are just throwing new liquidity/new fuel on the fire so it just keeps burning longer. See.. OrderFlow looks complicated, but it really is not when you just focus on Delta, OI and price.
