🇪🇺🇲🇦 If the EU ever pulls the trade lever on Morocco, the damage would be brutal. Picture the scenarios in hard numbers: hundreds of thousands of jobs at immediate risk, and the real possibility of a deep economic contraction that could ripple through the entire country. The reason it’s so dangerous is structural. Morocco’s economy is far more dependent on the European market than most people assume. That dependence leaves Rabat with significantly less leverage than it appears to have on paper, especially if migration tensions keep rising and Europe decides economic pressure is a legitimate tool. It’s a live question about how far Europe is actually prepared to go when the next dispute heats up. Source: @reieurope, @marcosagusstinn / Writer: Val
