July 28th: BlackRock supports Clarity Act👀 July 30th: $100M Bitcoin hack July 31st: 20,000 Bitcoin sent to exchanges Imagine the Clarity Act passes today or Monday, and the US Treasury sneaks in a provision to freeze all of that new Bitcoin on exchanges? Before you call me crazy, go and read the report the US Treasury wrote earlier this year where they said this: "Congress should consider enacting a digital asset specific hold law." They also mentioned "digital id's" in the same report 75 times! Am I predicting this? No. Is this a wild conspiracy theory? Yes. I'm writing this to highlight why it's a terrible idea to have all of your Bitcoin in the one central location. The more you look at the timing of all of this, the stranger the coincidences come. 1 - We've been begging for clarity act for 6 months. 2 - BlackRock and ALL the Wall Street titans embraced the Clarity Act this week, right before Clarity's deadline. 3 - Huge Bitcoin exploit hits Coldcard. 4 - The most cypherpunk Bitcoiners in the space all send their coinjoined UTXOs to centralized exchanges while they wait for new devices to arrive. 5 - The US Treasury, as per their 34 page report, say that they should freeze any digital assets on exchanges that are "suspected of illegal activity." Again, this is not a prediction, this is a warning of a low probability, hypothetical attack vector. But, before you call me a nutjob, go and read the 34 page US Treasury report for yourselves. Awfully strange:👇 https://t.co/vC4HVRK0Hd
