How many bad actors are using AI's RIGHT NOW to find existing vulnerabilities in Bitcoin Self Custody Wallet's that "The Bitcoiners" have been promoting for years? Is this worth the risk for your entire life savings to be "part of a circular economy" so you can look cool to your digital friends? Will your progeny be proud of you if you're next? Here is how I spread my custody risk with Bitcoin: 1. Assign a probability to America and the USD collapsing in the next decade. 2. Put that amount in Self Custody with Multi-Sig with something like @CasaHODL. 2. Put half the remaining amount into $IBIT (Coinbase Custody), and half into $FBTC (Fidelity Digital Assets Custody). This absolutely spreads and diversifies your holdings by CUSTODY risk - and this has been my recommendation since January 2024 when the ETFs went live. The risk is not worth the vanity squeeze anymore if you're a serious non-tech investor with a life outside the blockchain. Please be smart.
