Dear @elonmusk, I'm genuinely curious about your perspective on an important debate happening within Bitcoin right now. #Bitcoin was created as a censorship-resistant, permissionless network, but today there is a growing conflict over whether certain valid transactions should be filtered at the protocol level. With proposals like BIP-110, and new metal protocols such as #Ordinals and #Runes bringing new use cases - and additional transaction fee revenue for miners - the question becomes: Who should ultimately decide what belongs on Bitcoin? Should it be developers, node operators, miners, or the free market through decentralized consensus? As block rewards continue to decline, transaction fees will play an increasingly important role in Bitcoin's long-term security. How do we balance preserving Bitcoin's principles of neutrality, security, and decentralization?
