$BTC 📈 Nice reaction from the upper “zone of interest” 🎯 There were two lower-time-frame entry triggers for me: 1 - Sweep of the pre-session highs during NY into the tPOC: This is the trade I took, and we initially got a solid reaction. However, given how many shorts appeared to have positioned correctly for the move and given shorts could not produce further downside, I started taking significant risk off the table. I then trailed my stop to the current high, bringing it close to my entry. 2 - Sweep of the NY-session high during Asia into the Daily level: The crowded shorts failed to generate any meaningful downside momentum during NY, while spot continued buying throughout the session. That allowed Asia to sweep the NY-session high directly into the Daily level marked on the chart. OrderFlow showed that there was no genuine buying intent behind the move. It was primarily those trapped shorts closing or being liquidated. The candle then closed back below the previous high, confirming an SFP. An SFP inside one of my key zones of interest, with OrderFlow confirming “no intent,” is 10 out of 10 a short setup for me. My initial position was stopped out without any meaningful loss because risk had already been reduced. However, because I am not at the charts during the Asian session, I once again missed an important setup. So despite receiving valid entry confirmation at a key level, I am not currently in the short because my system requires me to be at the charts when the setup develops. I do not trade with limit orders. Yes, had I left my original stop unchanged, I would still be in the position. But before stepping away from the charts, I had to manage the information available at the time. OrderFlow showed heavy short positioning without any downside result, and there was no valid reason to assume that a short-liquidation move would stop just before my original invalidation during Asia-Session. I was not willing to take "unnecessary" risk at that point. I explained this in Discord at the time: “There is no reason for me to keep taking risk on this trade here. If they want to force those sellers out, we likely get a new high where I can look for a better entry. If not, then we should simply leave this high untouched.” The risk management was correct. But it is another high-quality setup missed because the NY session is currently trading weak as sh*t, and because I occasionally do something called “sleep” during the Asian session. Now I will simply have to wait for the next entry trigger at a key zone of mine 😏 (Full trade execution + trade management with OrderFlow explanation in the open Discord) https://t.co/03qTBPBrbe
