Very interesting. I had heard about this before, but I did not realize how widespread it had become. I do not find it surprising. China has built a world class education system, especially in engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, and the natural sciences. Universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, and the University of Science and Technology of China now compete with the best institutions in the world. In several fields, they are setting the global standard. The reality is that many of China's top technology companies and research labs are powered by graduates from these universities.
