A hawkish hold keeps BTC’s downside skew alive tomorrow. Polymarket has been pricing no change as the base case, with hike odds still meaningful enough that a hold can preserve tightening optionality and push front-end rates higher anyway. BTC was around $63.2k after the U.S. close, pressured alongside South Korea’s KOSPI rout, and the Senate’s CLARITY Act stall adds another macro/regulatory headwind into the decision. If short rates edge up after the FOMC, the first BTC bounce is the kind of move that gets sold into, not chased, zero illusion.
