DELTA → Buy vs sell orders in one specific window (1 min, 1H, etc.) → Shows short-term momentum and pressure shifts → Example: delta spikes positive right at support = strong buyer interest, possible bounce CUMULATIVE DELTA (CVD) → Running total of buy vs sell orders over time → Shows overall flow — accumulation or distribution → Example: price rising but CVD dropping = the move is running on weak volume, reversal risk building The cheat sheet: → Delta = the moment → CVD = the story behind the moment Use them together.
