🔴 The UK has unveiled its first autonomous unmanned combat aircraft, the Brontanax. Developed by BAE Systems, the Brontanax will operate in coordination with Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets, performing electronic warfare, reconnaissance, and precision strike missions. The platform, sized similarly to the Hawk trainer aircraft, will be remotely controlled by a Eurofighter Typhoon pilot or mission commander. The Brontanax is designed to fulfill the “loyal wingman” role within the UK’s future air combat concept.
