Brent crude has climbed over 3% to $94.44 per barrel, gaining about $20 this month alone, with no signs of a peace agreement. The Houthi group, backed by Iran, is now threatening to attack Saudi vessels crossing the Red Sea—the very route Riyadh has relied on to bypass the Strait of Hormuz. Saudi Arabia diverts 4 to 5 million barrels per day through the port of Yanbu to avoid the strait. Blocking this detour would eliminate the alternative entirely. CNN
