🇸🇦 🇾🇪 The first operational changes to commercial shipping in the Red Sea are now emerging as security concerns increase! According to MarineTraffic data, two loaded crude oil tankers changed their planned routes after departing Saudi Arabia. The Singapore-flagged XIN LONG YANG, originally bound for Qinzhou, China, turned back in the Red Sea after leaving Yanbu. Meanwhile, the Liberia-flagged RODOS, which departed Al Muajjiz for New Mangalore, India, later updated its destination to the Suez Canal. The route changes suggest shipping companies are beginning to adjust operations as tensions in the Red Sea continue to rise.
