U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer responded to questions regarding the tariff agenda in an interview with CNBC. Greer was asked about reports that the U.S. administration plans to impose new customs duties ranging from 10% to 12.5% on approximately 60 countries this week. In response, Greer referred to an investigation under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 covering approximately 60 countries, stating, “We expect to take some steps soon.”
