Traditional finance runs on flawed logic and trust: political interference, cronyism, central banks, fractional reserves, settlement delays, capital controls, money printing. Bitcoin doesn't ask for any of those things. It just is. Bitcoin replaces the manufactured rules of fiat with solid irrefutable math. But like any new gravitational body, pulling matter in is not the problem. The problem is escape velocity. It is a food blender without a lid. Right now, capital gets out before being fully captivated and consumed. The 4-year cycle is the escape valve. It has become a self-fulfilling prophecy: everyone expects the top, so everyone sells near it, so the top arrives on schedule, and capital returns to the fiat world from which it came. As long as that expectation governs behavior, Bitcoin remains as a star - sometimes visible and attractive, and sometimes not. It does not become a black hole for capital. Nothing crosses the point of no return, so nothing changes. Adoption of people and capital stalls. A true event horizon forms when that cycle breaks down; when capital stops leaving, because leaving stops making sense....because the alternative no longer makes sense. Until we detach from the 4-year expectation, Bitcoin will continue to pull fiat in, but it does not have the gravitational power to retain it long term. It is simply an amusement park ride, where bravery and adrenaline is converted back to fiat. However, full black hole physics could be achieved at any time. It simply requires a catalyst. An event horizon. That catalyst could come in the fiat world (Big Print leading to more noticable and painful inflation) or it could come from Bitcoin itself (more cohesive community aligned in direction, and decoupled from the 4yr cycle theory). Until an event horizon is formed, Bitcoin will remain enigmatic. It will remain tradable. It will continue to stagnate at the bottom of the S-Curve. Bitcoin's wider adoption is no longer fenced in by regulations or beligerent institutions. It rests in the hands of Bitcoiners who still ignore the math in favor of an article 4yr cycle theory. Could the Clarity Act be the Event Horizon?
