BIP 361 is the most important Bitcoin proposal no one is talking about yet. The threat? Quantum computing eventually breaking legacy ECDSA Schnorr signatures. The proposed fix: 1. Block new BTC incoming transfers to exposed legacy addresses 2. Phase out invalidate old signature spends entirely over a 5 year window 3. Implement ZK proof recovery mechanisms for anyone who misses the boat Force the migration to post quantum addresses before Q Day hits. Bitcoins cryptography isnt dying but the do nothing forever era might be coming to an end. Adapt or get frozen.
