one AI judge is a liability. a jury of them, picked at random, is something else entirely. think of police interviewing witnesses in separate rooms. if they independently reach the same conclusion without hearing each other's version first, that's meaningful evidence. but if the interviewer feeds them the same story beforehand, the whole process is compromised. that's the idea behind @GenLayer. nobody knows who's judging until the dispute exists, so there's no one to lobby in advance and no fixed judge to study. one validator proposes a verdict first. the others don't simply take its word for it. they independently examine the agreement and evidence, reach their own conclusions, and then check whether their conclusions mean the same thing as the proposed verdict. not identical wording. the same meaning reached independently. That is the Equivalence Principle. if the verdict doesn't hold up, anyone can appeal and a new, larger set of validators reviews it. bad verdicts don't get protected by the people who made them. They face more scrutiny. and every validator has real value staked behind its votes. honest participation is rewarded. attempting to manipulate the system becomes expensive. that's Optimistic Democracy. Bitcoin made money trustless. Ethereum made computation trustless. GenLayer makes adjudication trustless. not one AI pretending to be an all-knowing judge. many independent AI validators, randomly selected, reaching a verdict that has survived multiple perspectives. would you trust one AI with the final word, or a jury that has to reach the same conclusion independently?
