Trading is so so dangerous. It really is. But everything is dangerous. Flying. Riding a motorcycle. Walking across a pool deck. You prob know this by now if you blew up last week. But you have to realize danger is on a spectrum. It's more dangerous vs less dangerous. ...and usually more danger does NOT mean bigger/better outcome (usually the opposite). Less danger + time = beautiful equity curve so avoid "more dangerous" stuff: - weekly options - trading on no sleep - trading when emotional - trading when money is tight!! - trading when environment is bad - trading when bored - going all-in everytime ...and become good friends w longer timeframes Think clearly about the *level* of danger (and how you can minimize it) before every trade. I see people just literally walking off the cliff with some of the trades they take. Don't be that guy.
