I found this thread very helpful to understand the mindset of BIP110 supporters. BIP110 seems to be more of a way for them to express themselves than it is an actual attempt to fork. Most initial reactions were to not answer the question, but rather to express anger and unhappiness with Core. Some did answer the question after I asked repeatedly, and of those, the overwhelming response is that they would keep their BTC and keep trying to fix the spam/capture/corruption. That indicates that in their mind there is no urgency and Bitcoin will continue to function (they can keep trying to save Bitcoin precisely because Bitcoin will exist post RDTS). A few did say they would abandon the majority chain or slowly use/sell their BTC, but that was only 2-3 people. Overall, it seems that BIP110 ending up as a minority fork (low hashrate fork, for those offended by the word minority) is highly likely. You can't play chicken with consensus, jump out of the car 10 miles away and hope it still hits. In the Blocksize War, the Bcashers were really all-in: from rhetoric to actual economic skin in the game through chain-split markets. I'm just not seeing that in the BIP110 campaign.
