Near 3 years ago, my follower count got stuck on 160K with my criticism of the Israeli government and Gaza. That represented public opinion being very much with Israel. Fast forward to 6 months ago... and the follower count finally started increasing to where it is 200K today. What this represents is the shift in public opinion away from the Israeli government. The powers that be, Israel and the US, have in turn sought to control the machinery of politics and the machinery of media even as they have lost public opinion. This will be the battle going forward into the midterm elections.
