I’m close to taking my first losing $BTC trade of 2026. Price is now getting dangerously close to invalidating my scalp long. If BTC starts closing below the $62.5K multi-timeframe support, I’ll close the position and front-run the potential higher-timeframe range breakdown I mentioned yesterday. That said, I’m not panicking like most people are. Earlier in this range, I took a long from $62K and warned that BTC could still pull back toward $61K to set its daily higher low, despite first pushing toward $64K. Everyone shorted the pullback and started calling for new lows. Instead, those trapped shorts became fuel for the move back to our $64.5K cashout target. I see the possibility of the same scenario playing out here. Hold $62.5K, and we’re still following the same pattern: another higher low before continuing through the range. Start closing below it, and I’m wrong. Simple as that. This was always a long inside a broader downtrend, so it was naturally the trade most likely to end the streak. Either way, it has to end eventually. And I’ve been blessed to have had a phenomenal year trading with you all so far. 🫡
