🇻🇳 Important news for Vietnamese crypto users: Vietnam has officially established a dedicated penalty framework for the cryptocurrency market, effective September 1, 2026. Notable penalty amounts: → Trading outside entities licensed by the Ministry of Finance: 30–50 million VND → Trading assets restricted to foreign investors only: 70–100 million VND → Providing services or advertising/marketing without a license: 180–200 million VND → Failing to verify the identity of account holders: 50–70 million VND → Illegally buying, selling, or disseminating account data: 150–200 million VND For individuals and organizations found in violation, penalties are reduced by half. Note: Using international exchanges will not be penalized immediately on September 1. The regulation requiring trading only through licensed platforms will take effect six months after the first cryptocurrency service provider receives a license from the Ministry of Finance.
