The 12th Judicial Package, approved by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, has been enacted. Under this regulation, the deadline for reducing the number of chambers at the Council of State to 10 has been extended by four years; the scope of cases to be heard by a single judge in administrative courts will be expanded; and penalties will be imposed for consulting experts on matters that can be resolved through legal expertise required of judges and prosecutors.
