$BTC is quietly stacking up wins with one bullish development after another in the first weeks of Q3. Some of these wins have gone unnoticed despite their significance. 1. A strong bounce arrived *perfectly* at the meme trendline connecting the 2022 and 2023 lows. 2. BTC quickly reclaimed the February low of $60K and has not touched it since. 3. It broke the losing streak against memory stocks (DRAM) at the same time IBIT printed its first ever weekly tweezer-bottom. 4. Then a significant breakout against gold signaled relative strength versus metals. 5. CME Futures provided further confirmation of strength on the weekly timeframe by reclaiming both the 200 SMA and 5 EMA. 6. Spot bitcoin followed up on the weekly with a reclaim of the Hull Moving Average. 7. Today bitcoin smashed through the daily 50 SMA. This all adds up to a very strong start to Q3, showing resilience even in the face of bad news such as Strategy selling. And when good news arrives such as today's cool CPI print, we have yet to see it "sell the news". If this continues then it is a very positive sign. FOMC and the Clarity Act are both potential market movers heading into month end, and we still need to stick the landing on July to counter the weak June close. Right now I don't see evidence that we're going to revisit the lows, let alone take them out and head towards the popular bear targets in the 30's and 40's, as bears have fumbled several opportunities. Bulls have the ball, let's see how far we can run with it.
