SpaceX just landed Google. Google will rent 110,000 Blackwell GPUs, generating about $920M per month for SpaceX at roughly $11.6 per GPU-hour. Combined with its $1.25B/month Anthropic contract, that points to ~$26B in projected annual revenue from leasing datacenter capacity. Why it matters: those economics are extraordinarily rich on a per-GPU-hour basis—even for B300-class hardware. The pricing suggests customers may be paying a significant premium for speed, guaranteed access, and massive scale. Is this the new normal for frontier AI infrastructure, or are we looking at peak scarcity pricing?
