The contradiction on X: 20 million views, yet earnings still below the minimum threshold. In Thailand, some accounts have reached up to 20 million views within just two weeks—but still generated zero income. Why does this contradiction occur? 1. Excessively high proportion of unverified accounts On the X platform, small accounts can go viral and appear on feeds without needing a large follower base. However, in Thailand and Japan, the number of users with unverified accounts (lacking the blue checkmark) is enormous. This prevents your posts from reaching verified users. 2. Lack of verified followers When a post begins trending, X’s algorithm prioritizes showing that content first to your followers. But if most of your followers are unverified accounts, the algorithm immediately restricts your reach. → Result: These “massive” view counts are largely “garbage views” in terms of generating revenue. For this reason, I constantly remind my friends to consistently focus on growing your base of verified followers. It’s even better to connect with like-minded individuals who share the same goal of earning income—this makes it easier for you to see each other’s content and engage across channels. #BlueCheckMetropolis
