BTC Market Structure — Another Liquidity Lesson Yesterday we wrote that previous liquidations were not teaching the market enough. Today confirms the same behavior again. Traders keep chasing every bounce, while the structure is still defensive. This is exactly how impatient positioning gets punished. Futures structure remains under pressure: Total futures OI: $99.95B 24H change: -7.96% Futures volume: $354.9B 24H change: +39.29% BTC futures netflows: 24H: -$2.33B 1W: -$9.02B Liquidations confirm the same structure: 24H total liquidations: $1.79B Longs liquidated: $1.44B Shorts liquidated: $366.91M 340,752 traders were liquidated. This was mainly another long flush. The important part: Yesterday already showed heavy liquidations. Before that, the market also had large liquidation events. But traders still chased short-term bounces. Every weak bounce became a trap. That is the cost of trading price without reading structure. Spot flows are negative. Futures netflows remain deeply negative. ETF demand is still weak. Liquidations continue to hit late longs. This is not bullish confirmation. A real stabilization needs: OI to stop collapsing spot flows to turn positive ETF selling to slow down price to reclaim 63.5K–64.6K first then 66.3K–67.4K Until then, every bounce remains suspect.
