we love to treat technological disruption like a distant storm…visible on the horizon, but not yet raining on us. @quipnetwork made me confront how close that storm already is. they’re not theorizing about quantum threats. they’ve built functioning post-quantum wallets and engineered a hybrid system where quantum annealers perform useful optimization work right now. The real question isn’t whether quantum will matter. it’s how many of us will be caught adjusting when it already does.
