Discover the Primus Labs ecosystem and the roles of its components! Primus is a verification and privacy infrastructure that enables trustworthy use of Web2 off-chain data in Web3 and AI applications. The key is not merely bringing Web2 data onto the blockchain, but rather enabling its use in a way that verifies the origin and integrity of the data—without exposing the original data or sensitive personal information, when necessary. To achieve this, Primus leverages two core technologies: zkTLS and zkFHE. The core structure of the Primus ecosystem consists of: - Client: Initiates verification requests - Attestor Node: Performs data verification - Developer: Builds apps using the Primus SDK - System Contracts: Handle fees, rewards, and penalties Attestor Nodes are Primus’s verification nodes that validate whether user-submitted data—such as exchange balances, payment histories, or social account information—truly originates from Web2 servers, and generate cryptographic proofs accordingly. Attestor Nodes earn rewards for accurate verification and face penalties for malicious behavior. Developers are the builders who use the Primus SDK to create apps based on zkTLS. For example, applications such as credit scoring, identity verification, or AI agent execution validation can integrate task creation and Attestor discovery through the SDK. Clients are end users who initiate verification tasks within dApps—such as verifying exchange balances, social account status, or payment completion. Crucially, users never directly expose their original sensitive data on-chain; they only submit proofs that specific conditions have been met. System Contracts serve as the network’s central hub, managing task processing, fee settlements, staking, rewards, and penalties. They institutionalize who receives tasks, who earns fees, and what penalties apply in case of failure. In summary, the Primus ecosystem is not about importing data—it’s an infrastructure that brings the trustworthiness of Web2 data on-chain while keeping personal information private, exposing only verified, zero-knowledge proofs.
