⚡️ Bitcoin reserves on OTC trading desks have just hit a new all-time low. According to Cryptoquant analyst @Darkfost_Coc, Bitcoin reserves on OTC trading desks have just reached a record low, currently standing at approximately 142,000 BTC (compared to around 550,000 BTC in September 2021). While many focus on Bitcoin reserves held by exchanges, far fewer pay attention to the supply of Bitcoin still available on OTC desks for institutional and large-scale private trades. OTC channels exist precisely to facilitate large trades without disrupting market prices. Despite continuous inflows of capital, demand is quietly absorbing this supply—yet prices remain largely unchanged. The analyst raises a key question: Once OTC Bitcoin reserves are fully depleted, where will these large players turn to buy?
