Today, so much nonsense had to be read here: SAYLOR SAID HE WOULD NEVER SELL BITCOIN, LIAR, PONZI SCHEME, AND MUCH MORE... There is a huge difference between selling Bitcoin because you are forced to, and selling Bitcoin because it is the optimal decision for capital allocation and tax optimization. If Strategy buys 60,000 BTC this month at $80,000 using $STRC, and sells 5,000 BTC that were purchased at $120,000, the company would realize a significant portion of its $2 billion tax credit. And still maintain a NET PURCHASE of 55,000 BTC. I would gladly accept a $2 billion tax credit every day. Is this selling Bitcoin? Technically: yes. Was it perhaps a mistake to say: "We will never sell our Bitcoin"? Back then, no. Today, yes. Is this a change in strategy? No, the focus remains 100% on acquiring Bitcoin, not selling it. That’s exactly what good management looks like: you can hold strong opinions, but you must be willing to change them when it makes sense for capital structure. A small sale immunizes the market, and $MSTR bears must find a new narrative.
