After watching this, I'm fully convinced that aside from some global catastrophe that changes life on this planet as we know it, there will never be an isolated moment of peak fear more intense than Black Monday. October 19, 1987. With hindsight as an aide, this is a fascinating look into market psychology... Black Monday was the bottom, but obviously nobody knew that, it took a couple of years to hit a new all-time high. Paul Tudor Jones famously made $200,000,000 being on the right side of this trade, but even he got some calls wrong. He thought this day was going to usher in a new great depression. Instead, it was the buying opportunity of the decade and we had the roaring 90s right after. Definitely worth a watch if you can't watch it right now. Hit the save button for future reference.
