Why does this matter? Because a genuine altcoin season isn’t driven by isolated strong coins, but by broad capital rotation across the market. This breadth is currently missing. Looking at the past 8 weeks: The ASES dropped from +0.34 to -0.38 ➡️ a decline of approximately 0.72 points Meanwhile, BTC dominance rose from 58.5% to 60.3% ➡️ capital has once again flowed relatively more strongly into #Bitcoin than into the altcoin market. Even more significant: The components High-Beta Risk Appetite and Small-Caps Capital Flow have also weakened. This shows: It’s not just a lack of market breadth—risk appetite within the altcoin segment itself is declining again. That’s precisely why the market currently offers no reliable signal for the start of a new altcoin season. What would need to happen for this to change? 👉 BTC dominance must structurally decline. 👉 The ASES must first stabilize above 0. Next, a dynamic rise above +1 would be critical. 👉 And this must be accompanied by strength in High-Beta alts and small caps. Only then will we see not just isolated pumps, but broad, structural capital rotation into the altcoin market.
