35-Year Cycle Update With all the endless Dotcom bubble fractals and comparisons making the rounds right now, it's time to issue an update on the 35-Year curve in US equities. With this, a small correction needs to be issued. Previously, the curve did not account for the NYSE closure during WWI. The curve has been updated to account for that. This update actually increased the correlation metrics. Also, included from now on will be the Concordance Correlation Coefficient (CCC). It is a better metric for comparing cycles than r-squared. It lands higher than r-squared for the 35-year curve, a good sign.
