Housing sentiment period: Expectation for credit-based sales declined to 50%. KONUTDER and NielsenIQ Turkey’s Q1 2026 Housing Expectations Survey revealed that Turkish homebuilders have adopted a more cautious stance amid geopolitical risks, while maintaining their appetite for new projects. According to the report, as expectations for interest rate cuts weakened, the outlook for growth in credit-based home sales dropped from 76% to 50%, while expectations for a limited recovery in sales to foreigners strengthened.
