14,000 satellites in orbit right now. All protected by cryptography that quantum computers will break by ~2029. You literally cannot update hardware in space. Every satellite launching today has a hard cryptographic expiration date baked into its silicon. Less than 5% of enterprises have a post-quantum plan. The job now isn't to patch what's already obsolete. it's to build new solutions that replace them entirely.
