$BTC / $USD I posted this 2 days ago as a visual example of how a liquidity sweep could play out (not an prediction of how price would exactly move). And as you can see, price followed a very similar sequence: a strong push into liquidity, then expansion, then loss of momentum and rotation back down. But what really adds conviction here is how price moved during that push (as I mentioned what to look for in my original post). When we initially took the previous high, we saw a clear spike in volume. After that, as price continued making higher highs, volume started trending down. At the same time, RSI was also moving lower while price was moving higher, causing a bearish divergence. So price was still going up, but with weakening momentum and participation. That’s typically a sign of buyers getting absorbed, not strong continuation. Now we’re seeing the result of a rejection from that liquidity / resistance area and rotation lower. Also worth noting, the move down I drew originally was just one possible outcome, price doesn’t have to follow through immediately. It can still consolidate, rebalance, or even take highs again. The goal isn’t to predict the exact move, but to understand the behavior when price runs into liquidity and then watch how it reacts.
