The crypto market works exactly like a food chain, and once you understand where you stand in that chain, you’ll start to see why some people always thrive while others always get eaten. At the very top of this chain are the early buyers. They’re like hunters who arrive before dawn, catching the biggest prey when no one else is around. In crypto, these are the people who spotted a solid coin before it made its way to big exchanges. They take the largest portions because they were early enough to position themselves before the competition. Next, we have the whales. Think of them as lions or sharks, the apex predators with the power to shift the entire ecosystem. Whales don’t need to be early, their advantage lies in big capital. With one move, they can accumulate millions worth of tokens, creating waves that push markets in their favour. When whales buy, prices surge. When they sell, the market bleeds. If you’re a small capital investor and you happen to chase after them, you’re often swimming right into their trap. Then comes the mid level predators, traders with decent capital and experience. They’re like wolves or crocodiles. They don’t rule the jungle like lions do, but they’re dangerous enough to prey on the weak. In the crypto market, these are the seasoned swing traders or mid size investors who can still make a living catching trends that retail investors overlook. And finally, at the bottom of the chain are the small capital investors, the pawns of the market. They’re the scavengers, like hyenas or vultures, sometimes surviving on leftovers when whales dump, other times falling victim when they chase pumps too late. Many enter the market with dreams of eating like lions but forget that they’re stepping into an ecosystem where survival depends on strategy, patience, and timing. In every bull run, someone eats and someone gets eaten. The food chain never changes. Early buyers eat the biggest & juicy parts, whales control the flow, mid level predators adapt to opportunities, and small capital investors either learn the rules or get devoured. So the real question is, Where do you stand in this food chain?
