If you're trying to buy anything right now, just hold up. The last 4 months were the accumulation window. If you didn't buy the dips then, don't chase it now. People will be dumping on you, and you'll be the one frustrated when the pullback comes. Just wait. Let the market do its thing. If you want to deploy capital, find the names that are still beaten down. Being patient isn't just about holding. It's also about knowing when to get in. Timing your entries matters just as much as timing your exits. I've been buying dip after dip for 4 months. Bought more just a few days ago and again today on names that are still beaten down. But right now, I'm pulling back on new buys. The easy entries have already happened. Unless you truly believe something is going higher and you've done the work, go ahead.
