Inflation is Repricing the System Annual CPI and Monthly CPI have started rising simultaneously again. This is not noise, it’s a regime shift. Historically, accelerating inflation pressures valuations, compresses multiples, and reduces the efficiency of the S&P 500. At the same time, Bitcoin responds asymmetrically, as it reacts to marginal liquidity rather than just risk. Historically, there are three distinct regimes: Inflation rising + expansionary liquidity → Strong performance of risk assets (including BTC) Inflation rising + monetary tightening → Compression in the S&P 500 → High volatility in BTC → Redistribution phases Inflation falling + liquidity returning → Beginning of new expansion cycles Today, we are clearly transitioning into the second regime. And this explains the current behavior: • The S&P 500 maintains its trend, but with structural fragility • Bitcoin shows more erratic movements, with spikes and sharp corrections • The market has not yet fully priced in persistent inflation If inflation continues to push higher, the environment is likely to evolve into greater volatility and lower short-term predictability, with more selective liquidity and more technical price action. This is the type of environment where distribution happens quietly, and where flow analysis becomes more relevant than narrative. 👇
